Dear Students,
We are pleased to invite you to sign up for an academic consultation session with our visiting scholar, Dr. Yu-Kei Tse, Associate Professor in the Department of Society, Culture and Media at International Christian University, Japan.
Dr. Tse’s research explores media consumption and transnational cultural flows through critical, cross-cultural, and ethnographic perspectives. Her current project examines how NHK has adopted internet distribution and redefined its role as a public service broadcaster.
Her work has been published in leading journals such as New Media & Society, International Journal of Cultural Studies, and Journal of Cinema and Media Studies.Besides giving a talk during this visit, Dr. Tse will be available for individual academic consultation with graduate students in our college.
